Meet the Team

Owners

The adventure of Local Crumbs RVA began on a chilly day in November 2023 when Taylor and Josh sat at their kitchen table, dreaming of one day opening a bakery that would do more than simply supply delicious treats. Of course, things needed to taste good…but they also actually needed to be good. What would it look like to own a bakery that sourced its ingredients from Virginia, celebrating local produce and growers and reconnecting people with where our food comes from?

And that was the beginning of Local Crumbs RVA.

With these goals in mind, Taylor and Josh informally launched their business by advertising at their respective workplaces during the holiday season in December of 2023. Little did they know that this informal launch would quickly gain them repeat customers, eager to know when the next batch of baked goods would be delivered.
